Caring For Your Handmade Soap: Handmade soap will last longer if kept dry between uses. Store your soap in a dry place out of the stream of water in a draining soap dish. A slatted wood or bamboo soap dish is ideal as it keeps water away from the soap, allowing the soap to dry properly.
