Handmade Soap

Handmade soap naturally contains glycerin and should be allowed to dry between uses.

To extend the life of your soap bar:

  • Store it on a well-draining soap dish.
  • Keep it away from standing water.
  • Avoid leaving it directly under the shower stream.
  • Allow the bar to dry completely between uses.
  • Rinse your skin thoroughly with warm water after use.

Slippery When Wet

Soap bars and liquid products can make shower, bathtub, and sink surfaces slippery. Use caution when handling wet products. Do not step on a wet soap bar. Rinse surfaces after use and consider using a non-slip bath mat.

Body Wash and Beard Wash

A small amount is usually sufficient for effective cleansing.

For best results:

  • Apply a small amount to wet skin or facial hair.
  • Lather gently.
  • Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  • Keep the cap securely closed when not in use.
  • Store the container in a cool, dry place.

Body Oils and Facial Serums

To help preserve the quality of your oils and serums:

  • Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep the cap or dropper securely closed.
  • Avoid allowing water to enter the container.
  • Apply to clean skin.
  • Use clean, dry hands to help prevent water or contaminants from entering the container.
  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Body Sprays

To maintain the quality of your body spray:

  • Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Keep the cap securely closed.
  • Spray away from the face and eyes.
  • Avoid applying to broken, irritated, or freshly shaved skin.
  • Keep away from open flames, sparks, and other heat sources.

Massage Bars

Massage bars may soften when exposed to heat.

To preserve your massage bar:

  • Store it in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep it away from direct sunlight and warm temperatures.
  • Use clean, dry hands.
  • Allow the bar to cool and firm between uses.
  • Store it in a covered container when not in use.

Wickless Candles

Wickless candles are designed for use with an electric candle warmer.

For safe use:

  • Place the warmer on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Follow the candle-warmer manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Do not add water or any other substances to the wax.
  • Keep the warmer away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
  • Do not leave a warming candle unattended.
  • Turn off the warmer before leaving the room or going to sleep.
  • Allow the wax and container to cool completely before handling.

Fragrance strength may gradually lessen after repeated warming cycles. Replace the wax when the scent is no longer noticeable.

General Product Care

  • Always read the product label before use.
  • Perform a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or are trying a new product.
  • Keep products out of reach of children and pets.
  • Store products in a cool, dry place unless the label provides different instructions.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes.
