Product Information
Thank you for deciding to try our handmade soap(s), here are a few tips to getting the most satisfaction from your new handmade soap.
Handmade soaps naturally have a high glycerin content, which is great for your skin, with the high glycerin content, the soap requires a place to dry out between uses.
To prolong the lifespan of your soap, do not allow it to sit in a dish or container that is bowl-shaped, or that allows water to pool in the bottom. Also beware of those indentations built into some showers as soap dishes, rarely do they ever drain properly. Soap is slippery when wet, so be mindful not to step on a wet bar while in the shower.
Store your soap in a dry place out of the stream of water in a draining soap dish. A slatted wood or bamboo soap dish is ideal as it keeps water away from the soap, allowing the soap to dry properly.
Unused soap bars need to be stored in a cool, dry place, if possible, NOT the bathroom. A linen closet is a great place to store unused handmade soap.
Precautions: Please be sure to check the ingredients if you have certain allergies. Be aware that some soaps have ingredients that may bother sensitive skin (cinnamon, citrus, mint, etc.), and that exfoliants can be scratchy. We are in a world where allergens are becoming more numerous, with that being said, we are not able to guarantee that our soaps and other products will be appropriate for your skin type. We recommend that you do an allergy test and use the soap on the inside of the forearm and hands for the first 24 to 48 hours. With any soap, keep it out of your eyes or it will sting, if this happens, rinse thoroughly with plain water. Keep out of reach of children
